Dit matchworn thuisshirt van Club América uit Mexico stamt uit het seizoen 2011/12 en is afkomstig van de Mexicaanse verdediger Diego Reyes, die het rugnummer 13 droeg. Reyes ontwikkelde zich tot een vaste waarde in de Mexicaanse nationale ploeg en speelde later bij grote Europese clubs waaronder Porto en Espanyol.

Wat dit shirt extra bijzonder maakt, is dat het gedoneerd is door de legendarische Nederlandse scout Piet de Visser — de man die wereldwijd bekendstaat om het ontdekken van toptalenten en die een ongeëvenaarde neus had voor voetbalkwaliteit. Een shirt met een uniek verhaal dus.

This match worn home shirt of Club América from Mexico dates from the 2011/12 season and belonged to Mexican defender Diego Reyes, who wore squad number 13. Reyes went on to become a regular in the Mexican national team and later played for major European clubs including Porto and Espanyol.
