This matchworn Hajduk Split 1994-1995 home jersey with the number 8, belonged to Croatian footballer Milan Rapajic, who played for Hajduk Split, AS Perugia, Fenerbahce, Ancona, Standard Luik and NK Trogir. This shirt comes from the private collection of our matchmaker Peter van Vossen, who donated the shirt to FC Robinstijn. Peter swapped his shirt with Rapajic right after the Champions League match Hajduk Split vs Ajax. However the shirt is not from this match as Hajduk did have a sponsor name on it, so probably it has been a League-shirt or spareshirt of him.
Peter van Vossen (born in 1968) is a former Dutch football striker known for his pace, determination, and goal-scoring ability. During his career, he played for clubs including VC Vlissingen, Beveren, Anderlecht, Ajax, Rangers, Feyenoord, De Graafschap, and Vitesse. He won the UEFA Champions League with Ajax in 1995 and later became Dutch champion with Feyenoord. For the Netherlands national team, he earned 31 caps and scored 9 goals, representing his country at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000.
