John Bosman did have a great football carreer, playing 522 matches and scoring 251 goals for Ajax, KV Mechelen, PSV, RSC Anderlecht, FC Twente and AZ. At Ajax he has won the European Cup Winners'Cup in 1987. He also won 6 League Titels at Ajax, PSV, KV mechelen and Anderlecht. John was part of the historical Dutch Team that won UEFA Euro 1988 and played 30 international matches for the Netherlands, scoring 17 goals.

This shirt comes from the private collection of our matchmaker Peter van Vossen, who was his teammate at Anderlecht and the Netherlands at the World Cup 1994. Peter van Vossen (born in 1968) is a former Dutch football striker known for his pace, determination, and goal-scoring ability. During his career, he played for clubs including VC Vlissingen, Beveren, Anderlecht, Ajax, Rangers, Feyenoord, De Graafschap, and Vitesse. He won the UEFA Champions League with Ajax in 1995 and later became Dutch champion with Feyenoord. For the Netherlands national team, he earned 31 caps and scored 9 goals, representing his country at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000.
