Matchworn signed Shirt Netherlands Jan Wouters – Oranje van de Eeuw 1999

A shirt for the greatest Oranje team of the century!

This Netherlands shirt is no ordinary shirt. It was made for one unique evening: the "Oranje van de Eeuw" match on 21 December 1999 in the Amsterdam ArenA. Earlier that year, Johan Cruijff, together with the KNVB and De Telegraaf, selected the best Dutch internationals of the twentieth century. On this December evening, the living legends among them took to the pitch one last time, against a team of the finest foreign players who had ever graced the Eredivisie. The match, played over two halves of twenty minutes, ended 1-1: Simon Tahamata scored for the foreign stars, and John van 't Schip headed in the equaliser, the last goal ever scored for Oranje in the twentieth century. This long-sleeved shirt belonged to Jan Wouters — European champion of 1988, Dutch Footballer of the Year 1990 and 70-times international. During the match, Wouters set up Marco van Basten with a pass, and Van Basten hit the post. At the time, Wouters was also head coach of Ajax, the club whose stadium hosted this historic night. The proceeds went to charity through the Johan Cruyff Welfare Foundation.

This shirt carries extra significance: it was personally signed by Jan Wouters himself on 26 September 2026, making it a matchworn piece from one of Dutch football's most historic nights, now signed by the man who wore it.

The shirt is in very good condition. All details remain intact, including the Nike branding, the KNVB crest with the embroidered text "Oranje van de Eeuw" and "21 december 1999", and the "WOUTERS 20" lettering on the back. An FC Robinstijn authenticity certificate is included, giving you as the buyer the assurance that you are receiving a genuine item.
