Ronaldo is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time. With his unmatched combination of pace, technique and deadly finishing, he terrorised defences all over the world. This shirt dates from an iconic period in Brazilian football history, culminating in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, where Ronaldo emerged as the undisputed star of the tournament, scoring twice in the final against Germany. Unfortunately due to serious injuries Ronaldo didn't actually play any match for Brazil in this period. However this shirt was a gift to masterscout Piet de Visser, who did have a great personal relationship with Ronaldo.
